PRICING "PHILOSOPHY"

The amount of effort that goes into any given graphic design project or photo session can vary so drastically that the rates shown above should only be considered approximations upon which the final price will be based. For example: A job that is repetitively simple (scanning a large stack of photos, or burning multiple copies of a CD) might be less than the standard hourly rate. An in-studio photo session where I'm asked to shoot eight children under the age of three, all hopped-up on M&Ms ... well, you just can't afford that much, okay? Under all circumstances, though, AlphaBase will try to remain flexible — for projects on a tight budget, or for charitable, eco-friendly organizations.

Rush Charges: It is the very nature of the graphic design business that rush situations occur fairly often. Imposing a rush charge simply means that a project’s URGENCY is factored into the final price, which seems only fair, don'tcha think? AlphaBase always completes each assignment as quickly, efficiently, and accurately as possible. However, any project for which “please hurry” is part of the job description may warrant a rush charge from 50–100% of the total bill, depending on urgency.

Ownership & Security: Fees charged by AlphaBase are for the SERVICE of working on your project — the time and effort expended to complete the job. The files themselves remain the property of AlphaBase. Files are regularly backed up onto multiple media, and stored in a fireproof vault.
